TRX Classes

 

TRX classes are an amazing strength / resistance workout using two adjustable cables in a full body workout. A functional and versatile workout that can be easily made more intense or less challenging by changing body position. Strengthen your core, gain greater flexibility and movement and also raise your heart rate with cardio intervals in this fun and challenging workout! Born in the Navy seals and now at Fleur Wellbeing for every fitness level!

 

Functional Training

Strength + Flexibility + Cardio

During a TRX class, participants perform various exercises using the TRX Suspension Trainer, which consists of adjustable straps with handles and foot cradles. The straps can be anchored to a sturdy overhead point, such as a beam or bar, or to a wall mount. The exercises in a TRX class primarily use bodyweight resistance, leveraging gravity and the angle of the straps to create resistance and instability.

Full Body Workout

TRX exercises engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously, providing a comprehensive full-body workout. You can target your arms, shoulders, back, chest, core, glutes, and legs, all in one session.

Core Stability & Balance

TRX exercises require significant core engagement to maintain stability and control throughout movements. This helps strengthen the abdominal, oblique, and lower back muscles, enhancing core stability and improving overall balance.

Engaging & Challenging

TRX classes offer a dynamic and challenging workout experience. The constant engagement of muscles, balance demands, and instability provided by the straps can keep participants motivated, prevent workout plateau, and make the sessions more enjoyable.

Please keep in mind.

  • We have a 9 hour cancellation policy in place for all classes. It is each client’s responsibility to login to their Mindbody account and cancel their booking if they no longer can attend their booking. Failure to cancel a booking outside of the 9 hour window will incur a loss of session or $15 late cancellation fee. No shows will also incur the same penalty. We often have people on the waitlist for classes and cancelling with plenty of notice then allows for someone else to utilise the available spot in the class.

  • All classes are 45-50 mins long.

  • Our GROUP CLASSES INCLUDE: Mat Pilates SCULPT + HIIT + FLOW, Barre HIIT + SCULPT, Stretch + Release, Prenatal Mat Pilates, Mums + Bubs classes , TRX (Anything but Reformer)

  • Our REFORMER PILATES classes have a maximum capacity of 6 people per class and are therefore priced differently to our "group classes".

  • Our 5, 10 + 20 x visit passes have no expiry date

  • Classes, fees, instructors, terms and conditions are subject to change. We will always give you as much notice as possible.

  • Please aim to arrive about 5 minutes before your scheduled class time. Each session starts with a crucial warm-up to prime your body for the workout ahead and most importantly, to minimise the risk of injury. For safety reasons, clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may not be admitted to the class.

  • Help us to create a calm and relaxing environment by switching your mobile phone to silent for the duration of class.

  • Please minimise talking during classes.

HEALTH + SAFETY IS IMPORTANT TO US

  • Under no circumstances will clients be allowed to attend classes if they are unwell, experiencing a fever, respiratory or flu like symptoms. We take the health and safety of our staff and other members very seriously. 

  • Please make use of the hand sanitiser upon entry and before exiting the studio. It is each client’s responsibility to thoroughly clean their mat, Reformer and equipment after each use, using the spray and wipes provided.

  • Always inform your instructor and management if you are pre/post natal or if you have any injuries or pre-existing medical conditions.

  • For pre/postnatal women, please check in with your doctor prior to commencing exercise.

  • Client liability waiver form must be completed and agreed to prior to commencing class, on your first visit with us we will give you a short form to fill out on the Ipad which will ask for key details regarding injuries etc (This is separate to the information you provide when creating your Mindbody account).

  • Please BYO sweat towel and water bottle to class.

  • For hygiene reasons, please wear grip socks to all Barre classes, available for purchase at the studio for $18. Normal socks may be worn for mat Pilates and Stretch classes. Clean joggers for TRX.
