An Update on the Next Chapter for Fleur Wellbeing
Dear Fleur Community,
I wanted to share an important update about the future of Fleur Wellbeing and reassure you that, while we are making a change behind the scenes, the heart of Fleur Wellbeing remains exactly the same.
After a great deal of thought, reflection and planning, I have begun discussions with my landlords about transferring the lease for Studio B to another tenant.
At this stage, these conversations are still in the early stages, and nothing is changing immediately. We will continue operating from both Studio A and Studio B exactly as we currently do while a suitable new tenant is found and the lease transfer process takes place.
Why are we making this change?
Expanding into Studio B was an exciting chapter for Fleur Wellbeing. It allowed us to grow our timetable, offer more opportunities, welcome more members into our community and create new experiences together.
I am incredibly proud of what we created in that space.
However, after carefully reviewing the business and considering what will best support Fleur Wellbeing long-term, I have made the decision that returning to a single studio space is the most sustainable path forward.
Like many businesses, we have experienced changes in the industry and the impact of rising costs and cost-of-living pressures. While Fleur Wellbeing continues to have the most incredible and loyal community, operating across two separate studio spaces has become increasingly challenging to sustain financially.
This decision is about protecting the future of Fleur Wellbeing and ensuring we can continue delivering the experience our community knows and loves for many years to come.
What does this mean for Fleur Wellbeing?
I want to reassure you that Fleur Wellbeing is not closing, reducing services or making changes to our timetable.
We will continue offering:
Reformer Pilates
Mat Pilates
Barre
Mums & Bubs
Prenatal Pilates & Our BLOOM Birth Preparation course
Workshops
Challenges
Special events
Community experiences
In time, we will return to operating from Studio A - our original Fleur Wellbeing home.
Many of you have been part of our journey since before we expanded, and you’ll remember that Studio A is where our community was built and nurtured for well over a decade.
It has always been a place filled with warmth, connection, personalised instruction, natural light, plants and good vibes.
The heart of Fleur Wellbeing has never come from the size of our premises - it has always come from the people within it.
While our physical footprint may eventually become smaller again, our values, community and commitment to quality Pilates instruction will remain exactly the same.
What will happen to class sizes?
Once the transition takes place:
Reformer classes
Maximum of 5 participants per session
This is an intentional decision to create a more intimate boutique experience, allowing every member plenty of space and more individual attention.
Group Studio classes
Maximum of 16 participants
These will return to the capacity we had before expanding.
We will continue offering the same beautiful range of classes and experiences, with a renewed focus on quality, connection and personalised instruction.
What happens next?
For now, it is completely business as usual.
There are:
No immediate timetable changes
No changes to instructors
No changes to memberships
No changes required from you
The Studio B premises will soon be advertised for lease, and a suitable new tenant will need to be found before any transition can take place.
Once the lease transfer process is complete, we will communicate all details clearly and well in advance.
Looking ahead
This next chapter is not about becoming smaller - it is about becoming more intentional, sustainable and focused on what we do best.
Fleur Wellbeing has always been about creating a welcoming space where people feel supported, connected and cared for.
I truly believe this decision will allow us to continue thriving for many years to come, and I am so excited for the future ahead.
Thank you for being part of our Fleur family.
With love,
Ellesse x
