Introducing our New Creche Facilities
A Space Designed for You and Your Little One
At Fleur Wellbeing, we understand that finding time for yourself after having a baby can feel like an impossible task. Between sleepless nights, constant feeds, and adapting to a whole new rhythm of life, the idea of prioritising your own wellbeing often takes a backseat. That’s why we’re so excited to introduce our brand-new on-site crèche facilities, designed to support new parents in returning to movement—guilt-free.
Our crèche is a welcoming, safe and nurturing space where your little one can play, explore and rest while you enjoy a moment of “me time” on the mat. We've thoughtfully curated the space with engaging toys, beautiful books, and plenty of room for bubs to nap in their pram if needed. Most importantly, our experienced team is on hand to ensure your child is cared for while you're taking a class or enjoying a quiet post-class tea in our lounge.
Crèche Availability and Booking Details
The crèche is open six days a week, with morning and evening sessions on select days to suit a range of schedules. Whether you're easing back into exercise after birth or just need an hour to yourself, our crèche is here to make that possible.
Fleur Wellbeing members can access the crèche for free for one child, with a small fee for additional children. Casual and multi-pass holders can book the service for just $5 per visit. To book, simply create a Mindbody account for your child and schedule a spot through our booking platform. Members can also contact us to link their child’s account for a seamless experience.
The Importance of Postpartum Exercise
Returning to exercise postpartum isn’t just about physical recovery—it’s a deeply empowering way to reconnect with your body and boost your mental health. After childbirth, many women experience weakened abdominal muscles, postural changes, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Movement, especially when approached gently and intentionally, plays a vital role in restoring strength, improving energy levels, and enhancing overall wellbeing.
Exercise post-birth has also been shown to improve mood, combat fatigue, and support better sleep—benefits every new parent can appreciate. It’s not about “bouncing back”; it’s about regaining strength, stability, and confidence in a safe and supportive way.
Why Pilates Is Ideal for Postnatal Recovery
Pilates is one of the most beneficial forms of exercise during the postnatal period. Its low-impact nature makes it ideal for bodies that are healing, while its focus on core control, alignment and breath creates space for both physical and emotional restoration.
Regular Pilates practice can help rebuild deep abdominal strength, improve posture affected by breastfeeding and carrying, and gently strengthen the pelvic floor. Beyond the physical, the mindful nature of Pilates promotes relaxation, reduces stress and improves sleep quality—all of which are incredibly valuable in the early stages of parenthood.
