Studio Owner + Instructor
Ellesse’s background is in Ballet & Contemporary Dance. Born in Newcastle, she grew up dancing at Marie Walton Mahon Dance Academy and later trained full time - gaining her HSC in Dance & was awarded the Royal Academy of Dance Solo Seal Award. She then went on to train at Elmhurst School For Dance in Association with Birmingham Royal Ballet for 2 yrs before returning to Australia to complete her Diploma in Dance & Performance.
In 2007, Ellesse completed her Pilates Instructor training with the Pilates Institute of Australasia & relocated to Townsville, North QLD where she opened her own Pilates Studio EllessePilates at age 18. Here she taught a range of Pilates classes and also ran “Tiny Dancers” toddler Ballet classes, Mum & Bubs classes & Pilates classes specific to training Australian Army soldiers.
In 2012, Ellesse moved to Canada where she became a Level 2 Certified ski instructor with the Canadian Ski Instructors Association working for Whistler Blackcombe ski School. Combining her knowledge of skiing and her background in dance and Pilates she was able to achieve great results with her clients.
After returning home from Canada, Ellesse completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at the Power of Now Yoga Oasis under the direction of Jolie Manza. She has also completed her Pre & Post Natal Pilates & Yoga teacher training and holds a special interest in this area as well as pelvic floor fitness and safe practice for Pelvic floor health. Ellesse loves to continue her knowledge in the area of pre and post natal exercise as well as the importance of Pelvic floor health and function with ongoing training and particularly enjoys working with new mums, helping them to enjoy more stress free & comfortable pregnancies.
Ellesse continues to build upon her knowledge and skills, having completed TRX Training including TRX for the Prenatal and Postnatal athlete, Barre Attack training, and numerous Studio Pilates training and Barre Body courses. She hopes to use her years of teaching experience to inspire others to meet their full potential in all areas of their health and wellbeing.

Emily has grown up with an energetic passion for dance, music, and fitness. Emily’s background in dance stems from RAD ballet training at Newcastle Dance Academy for 15 years as well as training in contemporary, lyrical, jazz, national character & musical theatre. Emily has been involved in many Dance and Music based showcases and musicals in both the Newcastle region and overseas performing in a range of festivals and major events.
After receiving successful achievements in her HSC in 2018, including nominations for exemplary performance in music & dance, Emily has now moved onto studies at the University of Newcastle.
In 2021, Emily completed her Bachelor degree in Exercise and Sports Science and throughout that same year, her Government Accredited Integrated Diploma in Pilates through Tensegrity Training. She has obtained her qualifications Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates and Ball repertoire.
Emily is now currently studying a Masters Degree of Exercise Physiology.
Emily’s experience and background as a dancer has helped to lead her further into the fitness and Pilates realm, allowing her to build on her knowledge of strength training and the way the body moves. Emily’s qualifications further extend in her holding her Level 1 in Strength and Conditioning which she uses to help plan and structure her lessons to allow clients to gain the most from their classes. The switch from dance to fitness was an easy one for Lynsey. Fitness and wellbeing are in her blood. She loves to help clients feel like their best self, whatever class they are in and whatever level of fitness they are at. Lauren’s background is in Classical Ballet where she danced professionally for the Queensland Ballet in Brisbane.
Following her dance career she studied and completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Australian Catholic University and a Masters of Physiotherapy at Sydney University. Whilst practicing as a Physiotherapist she completed all levels of Mat and Equipment Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. Lauren is also a qualified Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga Instructor completing her training in Rishikesh India.
Lauren has always included Pilates with Physiotherapy and has consistently achieved successful results with her clients. She aims to tailor her classes to the individuals even within a group setting. Lauren loves taking clients through a controlled stabilised class so they can gain a great body to mind connection, however will always include a great work out within.

Tandia has a background in Dance, touring professionally around the world when she was 18 years old. By the time Tandia was 23, she had fallen in love with training and fitness. Having worked as a Personal Trainer for several years, Tandia has found a passion for Pilates which allows her to combine her love for technique, movement and training.
Tandia holds a certificate 4 in Pilates and loves a class with a good burn and a little sweat! She will also run you through quite a spicy BeachBod HIIT Circuit class and fiery Barre class. When she's not training, you will catch Tandia walking, cuddling or filming her 2 gorgeous pups Marshall and pebbles.

Jemma has grown up with a passion for Dance. She grew up dancing at National College of Dance training part time and full time. At the age of 17 Jemma moved to Germany where she trained at Bavarian Ballet Academy for 2 years. This helped Jemma gain so much experience living abroad.

Chelsea Willis has joined the Fleur Wellbeing Team to run our social Media. Chelsea comes from a dance background - studying full time dance after leaving school. Chelsea is employed as Associate Director at Young People's Theatre, is also head of dance and musical theatre at the school and teaches these disciplines in after school programs. A significant part of her role is in marketing and Chelsea also has past experience in running social media for other local businesses.
Chelsea's love of dance, Pilates, wellness and fitness had led her to Fleur Wellbeing where she is also a client. Currently studying a course in mental health, Chelsea will commence her Mat Pilates certification in 2022. Health, wellness and her involvement in social media are a big part of Chelsea's life and she is excited to bring passion and experience to her new role at Fleur Wellbeing.
