Ellesse’s background is in Ballet & Contemporary Dance. Born in Newcastle, she grew up dancing at Marie Walton Mahon Dance Academy and later trained full time - gaining her HSC in Dance & was awarded the Royal Academy of Dance Solo Seal Award. She then went on to train at Elmhurst School For Dance in Association with Birmingham Royal Ballet for 2 yrs before returning to Australia to complete her Diploma in Dance & Performance.
In 2007, Ellesse completed her Pilates Instructor training with the Pilates Institute of Australasia & relocated to Townsville, North QLD where she opened her own Pilates Studio EllessePilates at age 18. Here she taught a range of Pilates classes and also ran “Tiny Dancers” toddler Ballet classes, Mum & Bubs classes & Pilates classes specific to training Australian Army soldiers.
In 2012, Ellesse moved to Canada where she became a Level 2 Certified ski instructor with the Canadian Ski Instructors Association working for Whistler Blackcombe ski School. Combining her knowledge of skiing and her background in dance and Pilates she was able to achieve great results with her clients.
After returning home from Canada, Ellesse completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at the Power of Now Yoga Oasis under the direction of Jolie Manza. She has also completed her Pre & Post Natal Pilates & Yoga teacher training and holds a special interest in this area as well as pelvic floor fitness and safe practice for Pelvic floor health. Ellesse loves to continue her knowledge in the area of pre and post natal exercise as well as the importance of Pelvic floor health and function with ongoing training and particularly enjoys working with new mums, helping them to enjoy more stress free & comfortable pregnancies.
Ellesse continues to build upon her knowledge and skills, having completed Barre Attack training, and numerous studio Pilates training courses. She hopes to use her years of teaching experience to inspire others to meet their full potential in all areas of their health and wellbeing.

Steph has grown up with a passion for health, fitness and wellbeing and her background is in dance. Steph is Stott Pilates trained for mat work, Reformer, Pre Natal and Post Natal Pilates. She also loves teaching Boxing and Barre for cardio and HIIT training, with her passion for fun exercise.
After originally starting Fleur Wellbeing and then handing over the amazing studio to Ellesse, Steph has had her two babies and studied in Nutrition and health, specialising in infant to adolescent. BROOKE CROWE
Brooke has recently returned to Newcastle after spending the last 3 years as a Project Dancer Supervisor for Princess Cruises in Los Angeles, where she was extensively involved in teaching and installing production shows throughout the fleet.
Having danced professionally abroad for more than 10 years, Brooke started her dance career studying at the McDonald College in Sydney, The Australian Conservatoire of Ballet and later completing her education at Industry School of Dance in Melbourne.
As a qualified Personal Trainer, Brooke holds a Cert IV and VI in fitness, TRX Suspension Training and Barre Attack certification. Completing her qualifications in Mat Pilates and Reformer with Studio Pilates, Brooke has found her dream job! She is so excited to return to the Fleur Family and continue her passion in fitness.

Dani is a full time Mummy and Part time Pilates Instructor. She first started practicing Mat Pilates at the age of 16 while studying full time Dance at Brent Street Studios in Sydney. After attending her first few Pilates classes she was immediately hooked when she noticed so many benefits to her body in such a short period of time.
In 2016, Dani completed her Mat Pilates and Reformer Training with Peak Pilates and followed with Barre Attack certification. Dani is also a qualified Hot Yoga Instructor. Tandia has a background in Dance, touring professionally around the world when she was 18 years old. By the time Tandia was 23, she had fallen in love with training and fitness. Having worked as a Personal Trainer for the last 2 years, Tandia has found a passion for Pilates which allows her to combine her love for technique, movement and training.
Tandia holds a certificate 4 in Pilates and loves a class with a good burn and a little sweat! When she's not training, you will catch Tandia walking, cuddling or filming her 2 gorgeous pups Marshall and pebbles.

Lauren’s background is in Classical Ballet where she danced professionally for the Queensland Ballet in Brisbane.
Following her dance career she studied and completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at Australian Catholic University and a Masters of Physiotherapy at Sydney University. Whilst practicing as a Physiotherapist she completed all levels of Mat and Equipment Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute. Lauren is also a qualified Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga Instructor completing her training in Rishikesh India.
Lauren has always included Pilates with Physiotherapy and has consistently achieved successful results with her clients. She aims to tailor her classes to the individuals even within a group setting. Lauren loves taking clients through a controlled stabilised class so they can gain a great body to mind connection, however will always include a great work out within.

LYNSEY MCCULLOCH
Lynsey comes from a dance background, having started dancing at the age of three yrs old and taking this through to studying an HND in Dance at 17 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She then jumped straight into 7 years of dancing professionally for Carnival Cruise Lines.
The switch from dance to fitness was an easy one for Lynsey. Fitness and wellbeing are in her blood. She loves to help clients feel like their best self, whatever class they are in and whatever level of fitness they are at. She brings with her a Level 3 Diploma in Mat Pilates from The Energy Wise Academy in Edinburgh, level 3 Personal Training, TRX instructor and Barre instructor certificates. Lynsey is also a qualified Spin, Body Attack, Vipr and Zumba Instructor.

Abbey’s passion and love for Reformer Pilates grew when living in Melbourne and quickly began noticing just how amazing the benefits are mixed with other aspects of her training. Coming from a sporting background and competing in the Noosa Triathlon annually, Abbey began appreciating the slow burn and more controlled aspects of Pilates while discovering muscles she never knew she had!

Ruby started as a client at Fleur Wellbeing way back in 2014, where she was inspired by Ellesse and Steph’s passion for Pilates to begin her own training.
She completed her Mat Pilates training in 2016 and expanded on this in 2017, undertaking courses in mat Pilates 2, ball circle and band, Pilates for pregnancy and Foam roller Pilates. Throughout 2018 and early 2019 Ruby has completed both Pilates Reformer training as well as Barre training - Ruby has been a long time Barre student and her classes are guaranteed to give you a great workout! She hopes to be teaching both Pilates and Barre for a long time to come.

Jaki has enjoyed teaching dance for many years, and in 2017 started her Polestar Pilates studio and rehab qualification with the intention for it to add more knowledge to her ballet classes.

Once Kate had relocated back to Newcastle and on the hunt for a new studio, she met Ellesse and started attending classes at Fleur Wellbeing.

Megan has a passion for health, wellbeing, and fitness, which inspired her to become a Barre Attack instructor in 2020. She completed a Bachelor of Health Science in 2016 majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics and has worked to promote healthy lifestyles for children and families. Megan comes from a dance background, having started at the age of 5 and continuing on to specialise in Jazz and Burlesque.
Megan is also a part-time primary school teacher and loves working with children. She has a kind, caring and encouraging nature and will motivate you to reach your fitness goals during her classes. Megan is enthusiastic to continue expanding her skill set and provide a holistic experience for her clients at the studio.
